Virtual Field Trips

Written by Greenlight Networks | Apr 3, 2020 9:18:12 PM

We all know that the best thing we can do right now is to stay home.  That should be easy considering there are no in-person games, meetings, concerts, play dates and certainly no in-classroom school going on right now.  This can be a major challenge with young children at home, especially if you’re working remotely too.

So what do you do when the assigned morning work is over, the educational apps have run their course and not even watching other people play video games on YouTube is keeping them occupied anymore? The Greenlight team has put together some of our favorite virtual field trips and lessons to keep those little learners engaged and you sane while checking off your workday to-do list.

Zoo Field Trips

Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden’s Home Safari introduces a new animal to viewers live on Facebook each day at 3:00pm.

The San Diego Zoo has several live feed cameras to choose from so kids can visit penguins, tigers, koalas and more!

Zoo Atlanta has their Panda Cam so kids can check in on twin pandas, Ya Lun and Xi Lun.
