Relax, recharge, and rejuvenate on March 30 and treat yourself to a virtual vacation. Work can get stressful, so a virtual vacation is a great way to restore your mind and unwind. Your imagination, a dream destination, a VR headset, and a cozy spot are all you need for your vacation. With the help of VR technology, you can embed yourself in the full experience of being on a beach without setting foot outside. On a virtual vacation, most visit museums, go sightseeing, explore zoos, or even walk the Great Wall of China! Go on a virtual vacation with no packing, destination fees, or buffering. **Get the full experience** For the best virtual vacation, you will need a virtual reality (VR) headset, which is digital goggles. When using them, you can interact with fictitious environments in a first-person view. Many systems are suited to fulfill your individual specifications, ranging from high-end virtual reality and Windows Mixed Reality VR devices to economical, beginner-friendly headsets. Thankfully, there are [plenty of VR headsets](https://www.allthingsvr.co/best-vr-headsets-for-steam/) to go around to enjoy your dream vacation. **Plan your VR Tour** The next step for your virtual vacation is to plan your destination. Think of where you want to go or what you want to experience. There are tons of VR tours online. Would you want a tour of the Louvre in Paris, a tour of the White House, a hike at the Grand Canyon, or a walk on a tropical island? We’ve discovered some great [VR tours](https://terrancetalkstravel.com/) to get you started. **Dress the part** While you may be home during your virtual vacation you will still want to capture the full experience! If your vacation spot is on the beach, wear some clothes you would wear on a tropical island. Make the experience more authentic by dressing up as if you were traveling to your destination and vision yourself at your desired location. **Disconnect from the work-life** Treat this time like you are on vacation. Isolate yourself from your workspace and pretend you are somewhere else. Relax in your favorite chair at home, get your go-to snack and beverage. If you have family members at home, tell them you're going on virtual vacation and put up the do not disturb sign! **Experience the best virtual vacation through Greenlight Networks** Augmented reality has allowed travel buffs to experience the world in their own home. VR headsets and online tours can help you travel the world with a few steps and low cost. While a slower Internet connection would allow you to upload low-quality footage for VR, it would most certainly cause motion sickness due to the amount of lag you would experience! With non-fiber Internet, you’re lucky to get 25 Mbps upload speeds. At that speed, your connection would still be three times too slow to upload VR-quality video for live streaming and could put quite the strain on your home network! Fortunately, with Greenlight Networks fiber Internet we offer synchronous bandwidth, meaning your upload speed is as fast as your download speed. Download speed is how quickly you can access things on the internet. The faster your download speed, the faster you can browse social media or stream your favorite show or movie. Upload speed is how quickly you can put things on the internet. Faster upload speeds let you share that picture you took on Instagram, post a YouTube video, or take that virtual vacation with no buffering or lag. With Greenlight Networks fiber Internet, you will always capture the best possible experience and have the freedom to work, play and live without limits. What are you waiting for? Go on that virtual vacation. Get comfortable, grab a cold drink, relax, and connect with New York’s fastest fiber Internet provider. With Greenlight Networks you’ll experience a virtual vacation with no interruptions.
